Glimmer Point offers a serene lakefront retreat with exceptional amenities. The Lindal cedar post & beam architecture creates a warm, naturally lit space perfect for gatherings. Enjoy the private sandy beach, expansive decks perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets, and a custom stone fire pit. A few property notes to know before you arrive:
– Exterior security cameras are present (driveway, backyard, and waterfront areas) for property safety.
– Dock and boathouse are available for guest use. Kayaks and paddleboards are provided, and there is a refrigerator in the boathouse to stock your beverages.
– Boat slips and lifts are NOT available for guest use and must not be operated by guests.
– Golf cart is reserved for owner use only.
– Workshop and storage areas are not available for guest use.

**Additional Information:**
– All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
– Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

– Free Parking for up to 4 Vehicles. (No Parking or Driving on Grass)
– No Events Allowed without specific prior approval.
– No Pets Allowed

**Guest Requirements:**
In compliance with local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years old to book, and those under 30 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the reservation.

Important: Before check-in, the primary guest must complete our Guest Verification process. This helps us comply with short-term rental regulations and provides added protection for guests and the property.
After booking, you will receive a secure link to complete verification. Please complete it prior to arrival to ensure a smooth, quick check-in.
Damage protection is required for every reservation, regardless of where you booked. During verification, you will choose one of the following options:
– $25 per night non-refundable damage waiver (recommended): no security hold and a simpler, faster process.
– $3,000 refundable security deposit: requires a hold on a card and may take several business days to release after check-out, subject to any damage charges.

Our local Lakefront Luxury team is a quick message away before and during your stay. We are hands-off by default so you can relax, but always reachable for recommendations, questions, or anything you need to make the trip effortless.

You are on the public, cool side of Lake Anna in the Bear Castle community, one of the widest and most open stretches of the lake and a favorite for boating and swimming. The area is quiet and residential, with easy water access to marinas, waterfront dining, and Lake Anna’s coves. Lake Anna Winery, Cutalong, local marinas, and Lake Anna State Park are all nearby, and everyday conveniences are a short drive away.

Self check-in with a keyless smart lock, so you can arrive on your own schedule. Park on the gravel driveway and please keep vehicles off the grass. The main living level is single-story for easy access, with the walkout lower level just a short interior staircase down.

Main level (single-level living)
The heart of the home is a vaulted great room wrapped in exposed cedar beams, with a freestanding propane stove and a full wall of sliding glass that pulls the lake inside. White sectionals gather around the view, and the space flows straight into an open dining area with a long table for the whole group.

The kitchen keeps everyone connected: maple cabinetry, granite counters, a breakfast bar, stainless steel appliances, and a propane range, all under the same beamed ceiling. Step out from the living space onto multi-level decks that run the length of the lakeside, with outdoor dining, a grill, and lounge seating facing the water.

The lakeside primary suite opens to its own stretch of deck and includes an updated ensuite bath with a double vanity and a large tiled walk-in shower. Two additional lakeside bedrooms also have direct deck access and share a fully renovated bath.

Walkout lower level
The lower level adds a spacious family and rec room with comfortable seating and a TV, an additional bedroom, and a full bath. This is the natural spot for movie nights and rainy afternoons. A workshop and storage area are also located on the lower level but are not available for guest use.

Down at the water
A level lawn rolls from the decks down to 140 feet of shoreline with a private sandy beach, a custom stone fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs, and a covered double boathouse with an upper sun deck. The water off the dock is deep and clean, with a swim ladder for easy access. The boathouse is open for guest use and stocked with 1 kayak, 1 paddleboard, and a refrigerator to keep drinks cold. Boat slips, boat lifts, and the golf cart are reserved for owner use and are not available to guests.

With 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and a single-level main floor, the home is a natural fit for families and multigenerational groups.

The home is easy to reach by both car and boat. Plan on roughly an hour from Richmond, about 45 minutes to an hour from Charlottesville and Fredericksburg, and under two hours from the Washington, DC area. A car is recommended for exploring the lake area and nearby wineries and marinas.
