This is a fabulous Airbnb. We held a retreat here and the home and the surroundings added much to make this retreat restful and special. The house was very clean, inviting, and had so many options...from a theatre space, to gaming, to the many balconies that overlooked the lake, and many very comfortable beds. Daniel was also very responsive and easy to work with.
I highly recommend this Airbnb.

This was a perfect winter getaway from the city. Daniel was incredibly responsive and was a pleasure to work with. The house is beautiful--epic views, cozy beds, and a great space for a relaxing retreat!

Our stay was amazing!
My guests and I were very impressed with the layout, the furnishings, fully stocked linen cabinets, amenities from paper towels to k-pods enough for our four day stay (and then some), kitchen equipment for everyday cooking to a gourmet meal - I could go on!!
I would be remiss in not mentioning the excellent communication provided by the host Daniel - professional, prompt response time and courteous.
As I indicated with all my five star ratings - the house is exactly as represented in the listing and then to find it stocked with everything except the food - lol- makes the rating 5++++++
I am a frequent AirBnB user - this one is has made it to the top of my list. I believe I speak for all of my guests - we look forward to a return visit!!!

We stayed during MLK weekend. It was a perfect halfway place between the ski mountain and Richmond. The views are unbelievable. The house was well stocked and super clean.The only thing they need is another bathroom lol for a large group of people

Perfect spot for a long weekend getaway with our group of friends. We were a large group of families with young kids and the kitchen had enough seats for us to accommodate everyone and cook for many people (two ovens!). The lower level was cozy and a great spot to let the kids play. We made a fire outside one night with s’mores - the house had wood and metal skewers ready for us to use! Each family had their own bedroom with en-suite bathroom for ease and privacy. The views out the windows on to the lake were superior. Daniel was responsive and provided clear instructions and even accommodated an early checkin. Everything was clean and the house was well stocked. We had a fantastic time!

We enjoyed a lovely stay! We enjoyed playing games around the coffee table, while enjoying a cozy fire.

We loved our stay at Daniel’s place. There was plenty of space to fit all 11 of us comfortably, and we enjoyed the common spaces. We cooked every night in the kitchen and found it to be well stocked. There’s a Food Lion within 10 minutes that was easy to get groceries from. The house also had plenty of towels and other supplies, and Daniel was super helpful in getting us what we needed. He was a great and very responsive host. Since it was winter, we didn’t get outdoors as much but the porches are lovely and we’d be out on the lake in warmer weather! We would absolutely come back here and stay again and recommend it to anyone.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations. The location was perfect—close to attractions but still quiet and relaxing. We especially loved the outdoor space and cozy decor. Highly recommend, and we would definitely stay here again!

My friend's and I were truly amazed at our stay here. While the pictures are accurate of the house, it is much more beautiful in person. It was spacious with more than enough room to accommodate my group. The kitchen was large and beautiful. Living space gave us the opportunity to comfortably be together and the various video and card games gave us some entertainment in addition to what we brought (highly recommend playing Codenames). Everyone was able to sleep comfortably and I can not reiterate how gorgeous the master bathroom is. The WiFi was a little slow for us but we connected to a hot spot and was still able to watch TV for some down time. The lake itself is beautiful and I can imagine all the activities you can do in the summer time. We even had the ability to build a bonfire while enjoying the outdoor space amidst the cold. I highly recommend staying here, between a kind and responsive host to a beautiful house for a good price, this was a top tier experience for me!

The house was absolutely gorgeous! The home movie theater was amazing and was able to fit all 11 of us comfortably. While we faced a couple utility difficulties, Daniel and Zack were very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. We all said we would happily stay again! Thank you for having us, 5/5 stars!

It was a perfect place for a girls getaway. Living room and dining room with a small area of the dining room was great for our group. We could all be in the same area doing different things, but still able to hang out together.

10/10 my family and I enjoyed the lake view, the fire pit, the hot tub so much! Thank you for hosting us!

The house was really great for our large group. The rooms are all very spacious and having ample storage space for food and supplies was very helpful in the kitchen. It was wonderful to have so much seating for meals and visiting. The home theater is amazing, and there’s just so much to do in the house. Having lots of private bathrooms was also very nice for our group of women. Everything inside looks so lovely, and then you look out the windows and also get to see beauty all around! Also, the owners were incredibly gracious and kind regarding a mistake we made! They were always responsive and communicative and a delight to work with.

From the moment we booked, the host’s flexibility with check-in made our arrival stress-free, which we really appreciated.
The property itself was incredible. The hot tub was a relaxing treat after long days, and the private dock was a highlight—giving us easy access to the beautiful lake for peaceful mornings and fun afternoons on the water, in the kayaks provided.
The entire place was well-maintained, comfortable, and felt like a true getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!
