This is a spectacular home that i will want to book again. The views are amazing, the house is stocked and everything that is promised is delivered.

We were looking for a home to host our extended family of 14 for Thanksgiving. This house fit the bill perfectly. There was a bedroom or bunkroom with enough beds for everyone. Everyone also had a private bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped enough for us to cook an entire Thanksgiving meal. But that was just the inside, the outside was amazing between the boathouse with deck, kayaks, fire pit and hot tub. All the kids were entertained for hours. The hosts were responsive and went above and beyond to make us comfortable.

Extremely thankful for the accommodations that our host offered. The house was everything it was described in the listing. Kevin was extremely responsive and was able to meet our request. Our yearly Thanksgiving gathering was amazing, around family and a lovely place.

Daniel was responsive and friendly. His home was as pictured, stocked very well with coffee, tea, even some creamer (which we forgot to bring), including plenty of back-stock for the household essentials (ranging from trash bags, to more coffee pods, dish and laundry detergents, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, cotton swabs, sponges, etc., so you didn’t have to worry about running out during your stay! Blue heron was also loaded with fun family entertainment (board and garden games, tv services, etc.) and there was plenty of cut firewood prepared outdoors for cold night bonfires. The lake was gorgeous, and surprisingly warm! Daniel even had kayaks ready for use on the private beach. We heard a fish jump and saw several herons while exploring the lake. The lake was also nice and private. The home had beautiful views of the lake, and there was decent takeout with a variety of good options around a 20min drive away. Our family of four had a lot of fun and wished our stay was longer!

What a great house! The house had everything we needed. Impressed by how clean everything was. We had a couple of questions during our stay and the hosts were super responsive. Loved the big kitchen and all the different living room areas. We loved how the backyard had walkways. Made it a lot easier to use the space. The movie room was also a big hit. A grocery store was only a quick 10 min drive, which made shopping/planning much more convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Really enjoyed our family stay in mid November. Weather was warm enough for us to enjoy the clean lake at the private beach. Lots of space for kids to run around. Daniel was very helpful and responsive. Would love to come back for another stay during summer. Highly recommend for family with kids!

Daniel was an exceptional host! Communications were very helpful and pleasant. He was very responsive, kind, and helpful! He gave us great local recommendations. The property was just perfect! We were there with two very active toddlers and a newborn; the house was equipped with everything we might need for the kids, from basic care to entertainment. We truly had the best time at the beautiful and peaceful home. It was super clean and the kitchen was just marvelous, everything we need and many more… We will definitely go back!

Hard to put into words how great our stay was! The owners were responsive and extremely accommodating to our needs. The place was the perfect stay for our large mix of adults and children. This place was probably the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. If there’s an opportunity to rent again in the summer we will.

Hosted our work retreat here, and the team had glowing reviews of this property! Really loved all the amenities, size of rooms, the screened porch for gathering, and lake access! Everything was as described, and Daniel was a great responsive host who offered clear instructions and local recommendations. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay in this wonderful house on the lake! The location is ideal with beautiful lake views—we even saw otters playing in the water the first morning! The house itself was fantastic with a great hangout space on the main level for the adults and an equally great space on the lower level for the kids, including an air hockey table and fussball table. We had fun taking the canoe out on the lake to see the fall colors. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook in and relax by the fire. Unlike many rentals, the checkout procedures were very minor and easy. I highly recommend!

This home provided a warm, spacious & comfortable place for three families to stay for our daughter’s wedding weekend. The accommodations were better than expected, the kitchen was very well-equipped, and the beds were so comfortable. My family and I really enjoyed this house!! It was perfect for larger gathering. It was so spacious. Daniel was extremely communicative and super flexible. We loved the location, fire pit and kayaks! Will definitely be returning

Great site with lots of space and plenty of things to do! We stayed in November so we didn’t take any of the boats out, but if we ever stay in the summer it’s a great option! Space was clean and kitchen was well stocked for cooking.

Beautiful home

Wonderful weekend at this Gorgeous Lake House! Just as described w a beautiful view and plenty of room to space out and relax.

Daniel's Blue Heron home was perfect! Even with frost and freeze warnings at night, the lake was warm enough to swim in - in November!
Daniel provided all the amenities you could want, and SO MANY you can't even think of! The house is well stocked in every area.
We enjoyed lake views on the deck, gathered around the fire pit, and some of us jumped off the huge floating dock. We paddled across the lake in canoes and kayaks, and tried our hands at paddleboarding and fishing. The kids built sandcastles on the private beach, and we even set up our pickleball set in the massive paved driveway!
We enjoyed so many firsts, and we will definitely be booking again in the future! Thanks for making it a memorable trip!

This home was just awesome!! And, Daniel was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. The house was very well stocked, clean, and the ability to use the flat top grill at the dock made evening dinners so relaxing and fun. Plenty of room to relax and separate and the theater room on Sunday Football was 😁😁!! I have 2 suggestions, blinds on the master bathroom windows and possibly changing one of the double bedrooms into another king or queen to accommodate better adult sleeping areas. We will no doubt return to this house and it made our first trip to Lake Anna a success!!
