The location and property were beautiful, you can see the lake from multiple rooms in the house. It was quiet and peaceful, only the occasional boat or jet ski on the lake. The house is as depicted in the listing, even more spacious than the photos show with plenty of room to spread out. The area is remote, not many restaurants or places to shop but like us, some may find that appealing.

Incredible! Booked this for a friend (with kids) spring break and it was everything we could have hoped for and more! The place is amazing! Spacious and equipped with everything we could possibly need! The private beach was perfect, the game room kept kids entertained all week, everything was comfortable, convenient and clean. We will definitely be coming back again!

This place was magical for a small fishing trip and spring break festivities. Had a great time and It had everything that we needed.

Our family (including children ages 9 and 11) enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboards, hot tub, arcade games, and theater room. The home is lovely and comfortable, indoors and outdoors. Kitchen, living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms are all very nice! We would definitely rent again!

Blue Heron Hideaway was a wonderful getaway for our two families. We only left to get groceries and visit the nearby public state park. We could have stayed for weeks watching the sunrise and sunset over the water. The location was perfect in a new, quiet neighborhood. The lawn was large enough for sports in the morning and the driveway was used for roller blading in the afternoons. The house had everything we could have asked for back home. We can't wait to go back....!

We had a great time and it was a perfect quick getaway for our family and our childrens' Spring Break! There were lots of amenities to enjoy - the lake, the hot tub, the playroom, the fire pit, the sandbox, the playground, fishing, and kayaking & canoeing. My brother-in-law caught 13 fish (so be sure to bring your fishing poles and take advantage of the back deck)! The home was clean and had everything we needed to be able to enjoy. The way the space was furnished and laid out was perfect to relax. Also, waking up to the view of the calm lake was serene. My husband and I also really loved our walks around the neighborhood as it felt like we were vacationing in the middle of a beautiful state park surrounded by nature, the trees, the lake, and the other lake homes. We also enjoyed the winery and local breweries as well ~ Was not a far drive at all. We definitely recommend it! Thank you for creating a space that allowed us to create memories & as if we were on our own private island!

Our extended family had a wonderful time here. There was plenty of room to spread out, or come together. The property is beautiful; the views are so peaceful. There's plenty to do right at the house and immediate area for those looking for a quiet getaway. We would definitely stay here again.

By far the absolute BEST vrbo experience I’ve ever had. The entire home was so clean and fully stocked with everything you would need and more! The heated plunge pool was the perfect hot tub for this time of year and it was perfectly clear water. I will absolutely be a repeat visitor to this property and cannot wait to bring my kiddos.

Loved our stay at this great lake house! The inside of the house is beautiful and the windows provide a beautiful view. The house has all the amenities that you would need. We were able to make meals in the kitchen and grill on the deck with no problems. The private dock was an awesome place to catch some fish and enjoy the beautiful view. It was a quiet and private area around the house. Daniel was also a very responsive host. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, fenced in yard for dogs was a huge benefit! Easy walk down to the lake with access to canoe, kayak, and paddleboard made getting on the water easy. Lots of space to spread out and many seating options to enjoy the lake view. Hoping to return again next year.

We absolutely loved this house and property. It's beautiful inside and out. We spent the majority of our daylight hours out back, and it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. My son fell in love with fishing from the dock, and the kayaks and paddle board were so much fun. There were even tons of life jackets for all 8 of us to choose from, which was a nice surprise.
The inside of the home was fully stocked with just the right amount of everything we could have needed. It was super clean with comfy beds and furniture, and plenty of room for all of us.
Both kids and adults had a blast. Our favorite places to visit were the Lake Anna Taphouse, Cream & Caffeine, and Lake Anna Winery.
My kids were already begging to come back before we even left, which made the trip that much more special. This was my favorite Airbnb house we've stayed at, and I would highly recommend the house and hosts. Thank you for a wonderful spring break!

The house was perfect for our family to enjoy spring break. It had great spaces and wonderful amenities that made our kids feel special. Everything worked as expected and the movie theater was a major hit. Kitchen was a dream and served us well.
