Good place 🔥

A beautiful space to say for a larger group of people at Lake Anna. I stayed here with my 7 bridesmaids before my wedding and it was the perfect relaxing stay ahead of wedding festivities. Everything was very clean and exactly as described. The views were even better than I expected based on the photos and description, and it was lovely eating dinner at the table on the dock. Would absolutely stay again!

We loved our stay at Cucumber Cove! It has a beautiful big window that overlooks the lake and the amenities are fantastic!

This place is AWESOME! It is tucked away and feels private, but is so close to lots of stores, restaurants, and fun stuff to do. We had so much fishing, having fires, sitting on the porch, and playing games in the basement. It is the perfect place for larger groups or families to gather.

This place is AMAZING!!! More than what we expected. Not one single complaint, but all praises and satisfaction. Clean spaces, well equipped kitchen, perfect view, plenty of activities/entertainment for everyone, hot tub was a bonus, boat house with open upper deck was lovely. Definitely a must place to go, specially when you’re considering luxury, comfort, and fun at the same time. Daniel is a gracious host that quickly responds and address every questions and requests we had. We already checked availability for our next getaway, even before we checked out! 😁. Thank you!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. We have 8 adults and 5 children and there was plenty of space to spread out! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for meal prep. The boat house was beautiful and had plenty of water toys to use. The kids loved the paddle boards and floating mat. We caught a lot of fish right off the dock. The beach was great for the little ones! Daniel was great and stayed in touch with me through our stay. He even gave us a free nights stay which was much appreciated! We will defintely be back!!

We had two families (4 adults, 7 kids) stay at Daniel's place for four nights. We didn't leave the house the entire time. Coffee on the patios, laying out on the dock, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, swimming (even in Apr!), hanging in the hot tub, watching movies in the theater room and video games in the game room, s'mores around the fire pit, board games, puzzles, and group meals in the kitchen - all of these kept us more than entertained during our entire stay.
Before we even arrived the property manager kindly made us aware of a cosmetic issue with the microwave from the previous renters. Apparently they were quite the rowdy group (according to the neighbor), and possibly because of them we found several things in disrepair. We made Daniel aware of everything, and he always responded immediately. He sent management out to address things that needed immediate attention.
All in all, we would certainly stay at Daniel's place again.

Beautiful home nestled in a nice little cove for some R&R with the family. Easy access to the lake for canoeing and fishing…. Well thought out open design to host a family or more with a nice walk out patio. Incredible game room for kids and adults.

The house was lovely for a family with four kids 7 and under. The lake, hot tub, and water toys made for a lot of fun. We did have an issue with construction being done on the dock without our knowledge for two of the days, but the owners mostly remedied the issue.

The house had everything you need to enjoy time by the lake plus stores and restaurants nearby! We enjoyed nights by the fire and the jetted hot tub. Kayaking at sunset and renting jet skis nearby. The house was beautiful and stocked with everything you need!

This is a beautiful property with the perfect amount of privacy mixed with the located to branch out to different parts of Virginia. This property has an incredible view and presence on lake anna. This was a memorable experience not only because of the house on the lake but also the comfortability to come together and enjoy the simple things about going on a trip with a group of people. They have everything in place for you to relax and enjoy time with ones you love.

We had an amazing stay at Penny’s Quarters. It was the Perfect location to create memories with your family. The dock was peaceful and made kayaking and fishing easily accessible as was the splash pad for sunbathing. The home was as photographed and spotless. The back deck was the ideal location for morning coffee and evening card games. Daniel was a very responsive host. We couldn’t have chosen a better location to celebrate my daughter’s graduation. We hope to visit again.

My boyfriend and I rented this lake house for a birthday celebration week and this was the first air bnb we have visited that was even BETTER than the photos. Equipped with anything you could need and views from every room. We spent most of our time relaxing on the private dock soaking in the sun.
The house felt like a home away from home.
Host responded within minutes when contacted and was so very helpful the whole stay!
We hope to come back asap!

My family enjoyed a truly magical stay for spring break. The house is gorgeous and so spacious! The kitchen is straight out of a magazine! We enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning overlooking the lake and dinner both inside and outside. Our kids had a blast on the kayaks and the floating mat. The water was so warm!! We swam everyday which was surprising for April. Then finishing the day off with the hot tub and fire pit made for a perfect day. We took a day trip to visit the university of Virginia and Charlottesville which was an easy 50 minute drive. I’d give the experience 10 stars if it allowed!

We travelled to see family for Easter in the DC area and rounded out our trip at ‘A World Away’. Our teenagers were thoroughly entertained. We enjoyed the serenity and beautiful finishes of the home. You can be as busy or lazy as you like at this home. We will definitely be back.

This is an amazing lake house, with tons of outdoor and indoor entertainment. We visited with 3 families, with children ages 1 to 8. Everyone had an amazing time kayaking, swimming, playing games, enjoying the views, watching movies, and sharing meals together at the giant dining room table. the host had everything we needed and Daniel was quick to respond to any questions we had. This is a perfect spot for a family vacation!
