Incredible getaway location, with premier space, views, and amenities. The home is complete with all that you'd need to host a large group, with a great kitchen and many locations for group meals. Great customer interactions too, responsive, kind, and flexible. Bravo!

We loved this house so much! It worked great for our family vacation. Every day we were torn between taking a short trip to the countless attractions and activities in the surrounding area, or just relaxing at the house with it's numerous amenities and beautiful setting. We had groups take day trips to Washington DC, Shenandoah National Park, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, Fredericksburg, and Richmond; while others just relaxed at the house. Lake Anna has numerous activities to enjoy right there as well. We had four children there under 5 and they LOVED the play room, while the older kids enjoyed the game room and theater. And everyone enjoyed the outdoor features like the firepit, dock, hot tub, and beach. We would definitely stay there again!

Daniels place was right on the water+ I was really happy that we had so much space. The location was beautiful + stores were withing good distance. The kayaks were a plus.

Daniel’s place was the perfect peaceful getaway with friends. We arrived and were blown away by this beautiful home! The illuminated driveway safely guides you to the front door, then you walk through the front door into an open oasis on the lake. The lake is visible through floor to ceiling windows and doors from every angle of the house and the kitchen and great room with fireplace are elegant and cozy. The weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy the outdoor spaces. Daniel has the kitchen and pantry stocked to the point that we really didn’t need to purchase anything except what we needed for meals, all of the utensils, spices, and hardware was already provided. We have found a great getaway spot for future family gatherings

It was a great weekend getaway, we enjoyed our stay and kids loved it.

We had a great time! This is a beautiful home! It was so relaxing and peaceful. This is exactly what we needed. It’s right on Beautiful Lake Anna! Daniel was the best host! He answered all of our questions and responded very quickly! Very nice people to deal with! We will go back again sometime!

The Blue Heron Hideaway exceeded our expectations and was even more amazing in person! The home is absolutely beautiful, the property and lakefront are stunning! We were so comfortable during our stay, everything about the home is convenient, modern, up to date and clean. One unexpected bonus was how well stocked the kitchen and entire home was…there was literally everything there to enjoy a wonderful vacation! We felt right at home in so many ways. The host truly goes above and beyond to provide endless amenities.

The pictures do not do this place justice. The house is huge and beautiful. Our group could not have picked a better location and house to stay at. The lake was beautiful and we spent so much time outside. Highly recommend. I was a little worried since there is a rental agreement contract that we had to sign after we paid - but there were no issues at all with it.

Our family had a great time during our stay. The house is very clean and decorated well. The house had plenty of space for our 16 people with some additional areas not in the pictures. The main living area was spacious while some played games, some were making food and others watching sports on the tv. The bedrooms having plenty of space and large closets. The owners were responsive prior to our stay and quickly addressed a few minor issues that happened during our stay. We look forward to staying at this property again!

We had such a great girls’ weekend in Lake Anna. The house was perfect for our group, and Daniel and Zach promptly answered every question we had before and during the weekend. We’d love to stay here again.

The house truly lives up to ALL its hype. It's a stunning house with tons of activities for kids and family. The house is so beautifully decorated and kept extremely clean. Dan/Zach were very responsive to every inquiry I had, and super friendly. We especially loved how kid friendly the house was for my toddler (crib, pack n play, high chair, bibs, kid utensils, toys) so we didn't have to worry about packing our entire house to bring there! I only wish that it didn't rain so that we could have enjoyed the outdoor amenities (fire pit, beach, lawn games, etc). However, we were pleasantly surprised at how much there was to do INSIDE the house while we were rained out for the majority of the time there. My family loved the memories we made there during our short weekend getaway and everyone is already talking about coming back. Thank you Dan!

This was a well-appointed, spacious home with beautiful views of Lake Anna. So many amenities made this a comfortable, relaxing stay, including a well-stocked kitchen and many extras like canoes and life jackets. Daniel made every effort ro assure we had a wonderful stay. This was a first-class airbnb experience.
