We had a wonderful stay

Ranks as one of my top and most peaceful Airbnb stay to date. Every detail in the space was thoughtfully designed and considered with the guest in mind. And as a host, Daniel was timely, accommodating and most of all, welcoming.

We had an amazing time there! Our group was 4 families: 7 adults and 4 kids. All kids were crazy about the house and wanted to stay there forever. The house was totally gorgeous! Their kitchen had everything! You don't need to bring anything to cook, other than the food materials. They had so many plastic containers and zip locks so it was so convenient for us to store any left over food while staying there. All beds, linens, furniture, blankets, towels were clean and good quality. They had good quality shampoo, conditional, body wash etc. in their bathrooms. The best part was their view!! I bet this house has the best view in this community! There was this cute little beach to the lake in the backyard and our girls had great time playing there with beach toys they found in the garage. We could find absolutely everything we needed for the vacation in this house. All of us are already thinking about finding another time to go back there.

I was hosting a wellness retreat for woman, but will absolutely go back with my family.

My family and I only had a few days for a small getaway and was looking for something relaxing and easy. This location surpassed anything we could have hoped for. Every detail in the house is geared towards guests and a need they may have. The home itself is gorgeous and i told my husband when we build, i want ours to be just like this one. The view at sunrise and sunset are something I would never get tired of seeing. The host was very helpful and providing answers to any questions I had. We will absolutely be booking this property again.

Wow what a beautiful week we just had! Daniel had everything that we needed and more. So many things to do even when it was cold outside! An awesome kitchen with all the tools and gadgets! Plenty of games to play and toys for the kids and babies to play with. Moms don't have to over pack to come here! I really appreciated the natural soaps and cleaners they provided. The house, linens, and towels smelled clean and with no over bearing chemical fragrances which is helpful for my sensitive nose! We came during the winter time and had a blast and we would love to come back during the summer to enjoy ALL outdoor summer toys! Thanks Daniel for a lovely weekend!

The house is very new and spacious and the host ver accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our group of friends regularly spends time in rental houses around Lake Anna and the larger Chesapeake region - Mary & Chris' property is one of the most beautiful we have been lucky to be guests at. This new house has top of the line appliances and furniture, and an extremely well-appointed kitchen. The rooms are spacious and the layout made it easy for people in our 8 person group to slip off to read or take a nap but then come back together for games and dinner in the evenings. We were blessed with incredible January weather so got a little taste of what summers will be like here - we took advantage of the kayaks and stand up paddle boards, sat around the firepit under the stars and enjoyed several sunsets from the dock. In addition to all of this, the giant southern facing windows mean that the house is flooded with light and views of sparkling water all day long from the moment you wake up in the morning - just so special. Chris and Mary were warm and responsive hosts. We definitely look forward to returning again and again.

You feel that you are on the lake, the view from the kitchen, living room are stunning. Daniel’s house is gorgeous and spacious. Great layout, very well decorated, had everything we could possibly need during our stay. Easy access, calm community, private, nice appliances and gadgets, everything was functional. Spotless clean, very well supplied, we had a great time. It was freezing cold outside but super nice inside with the big fireplace in the living room. Need to make plans to be there during summer and enjoy the huge deck, fire pit, beach area and the lake. We will recommend this place to anyone seeking comfort and relaxing time right on the lake. Daniel was super attentive, one of the best Airbnb stays we have experienced.

Daniel’s home is stunningly gorgeous. The lot is one of the best situated on the water in this stylish, quiet, friendly neighborhood and part of Lake Anna. The home is spacious yet cozy, warm and welcoming. It is generously stocked with anything you could possibly need. Daniel was so responsive and helpful. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs. I really appreciate their kindness and warmth.

The home was beautiful and extremely clean with many included amenities that greatly made our stay easy and seamless. The lake and surrounding area is beautiful to walk through and very private. Highly recommended!!

Simply put, we can't wait to stay here again. This is an absolute gem, just a gorgeous house in a wonderfully peaceful and serene setting. We were here in December, but seeing all the water sport equipment available, and the boat dock that is SO close, we would absolutely bring our families back to stay in the summer! This house is impeccably clean, brand new, with absolutely every amenity you could need for a great vacation on Lake Anna. The hosts are super communicative, friendly, and the whole experience was perfect.

The house on the lake is beautiful and has everything you’d need for a family getaway. Daniel was extremely responsive and answered all the questions we had. Our family created some beautiful memories and we can’t wait to come back!

The view of the sunset just let you know you were definitely on vacation, even though it was just a weekend it definitely was a great location to stay. Everything was exactly as mentioned in the reviews. Would rent this house again. Thank you so much 😊

This Lake Anna getaway was the perfect home and location for our family vacation. We enjoyed stunning views of the lake, nature walks, drives around the area, Sunday afternoon football and World Cup games by the indoor gas fireplace and more. We made big home-cooked dinners and were able to find everything we needed and more stocked in their beautiful kitchen. Everything was so clean, organized, spacious, relaxing, and nicely decorated. Daniel, the host, is great at communicating and answered any questions we had within an hour! Thank you for the wonderful stay- we’ll definitely be coming back to enjoy it all in the summer next time!

We rented this home over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend so we could enjoy the holiday with our entire family of 12 all together. When we arrived in the evening the house was lit up to aid in our arrival and the owners had gifted us a bottle of wine and a card with the sweetest hand written note. The house itself is just beautiful and so spacious there are several areas to sit with family to watch a movie or play games or just relax. The basement not only had spacious seating area with large couch and TV along with a foosball table and shuffleboard table but also a large breakfast/wet bar area with its own coffee maker sink and dishwasher along with two cabinets stocked full of games. The main level living area is large and open so anyone prepping meals in the kitchen can easily interact with everyone in the living room or dining room plus there is a very large island with barstools to allow for interaction while cooking meals. There is a large wraparound deck on the backside of the house with plenty of seating and a grill plus the master in the main level has French doors open up onto the deck. There was a large screened in porch with a seating area as well as a dining area and while we didn’t have too much of a need for it due to the colder weather however it will be perfect during the warmer months to be able to sit outside or have dinner in the evenings without having to worry about mosquitoes. I loved waking up every morning with a beautiful view of the lake which we could see from almost any main room in the house as the rear of the house has mostly large windows to allow for tons of sunlight and the most beautiful views. The owners were great at communication and just the nicest people. They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable experience. My entire family absolutely loved this home and we will definitely be looking at another stay in the future.
