Wow! We had such amazing time at the Captain’s Quarters. The location, price, house size and amenities are absolutely unbeatable.
The photos and description of this place really don’t do justice to just how beautiful it is. The house is fully set up with everything you could possibly imagine. It really has everything from fun bunk beds for kids, a full game room, and outdoor fire pit, to the hot tub and a massive boat house with ample seating right on Lake Anna.
The house was clean, organized and fully supplied with everything we needed during my our stay.
The Captain’s Quarters is the perfect location for a quick local getaway or longer vacation. You’ll get the complete luxury lake house experience without breaking the bank.

The lakefront property was fully stocked and had entertainment for kids and adults of all ages. The location was fantastic, and the kids enjoyed fishing on the docks in using the kayaks in the lake. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Great location! Absolutely stunning views!! Game room came in handy since we had rainy weather. Kitchen had everything we needed.

Large house with plenty of room for our family. Host was very responsive and helpful for a few small issues we had. Private boat dock was nice and the fishing off the dock was great! We would come back again if we're in the area!

Beautiful location on private side of Lake Anna. House is beautiful with a great screened in area and pool and wonderful dock with pontoon boat. Lots of fun!

This home and location is so beautiful. The inside was beautiful and spacious. Our group had a great time with all the different amenities inside let alone the lake.
A perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful three days stay at this Airbnb! The space was not only cozy and beautifully decorated, but it also had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, with easy access to the lake. Our host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Amazing trip for three families!

The owners were very responsive. The beds and the pillows are very comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the Blue Canoe! Daniel was extremely responsive when we had questions, both before and during our stay. The property was impeccably maintained and very well equipped. The kitchen was also extremely well stocked for large groups. The house looked just as the pictures showed and the furnishings and design choices kept everything looking modern, clean, and serene! Just what you hope for when you escape for vacation! One bonus for our group was that the sandy “beach” entry had shallow water for younger kiddos who wanted to wade, but the water off the dock was deep enough for the kids to run and jump off the dock into the lake, so it truly was the best of both worlds. I can’t say enough good things about this property and would definitely return!

The place was beautiful and the way the rooms were configured worked great for multiple families. The kitchen was great and when we noticed some pans that needed replacing, we communicated that and there were new pans there within hours. Daniel was incredibly responsive to communications, which was great. The location on the lake is fantastic, not far from Pleasant's Landing. The boat dock was great too with both shaded and sun locations to spend time near the water. Awesome place!

What a great stay for a huge friendship trip on the lake! It was our first trip with 5 kids under 5, and we were pleasantly surprised to see how kid-friendly this house was while still being very relaxing for the rest of us adults.

Our family has chosen beautiful Lake Anna as our yearly tradition for the Memorial Day weekend. We selected this property due to its proximity to the water and the ample space it offers for everyone. The directions were accurate and easy to follow. The property portal provided important information useful to all family members traveling from different locations, including Maryland, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. The house was spacious, and we appreciated having two comfortable bedrooms (out of six) located on the first floor. The outdoor sitting areas were also comfortable and well-suited for all of us.
Though some issues arose during our stay, Daniel was always available and responded quickly to our texts or connected us with someone who resolved them promptly. Overall, our time at the lake was exactly what we needed to strengthen our family bonds.

What a perfect location! We were able to bring two boats and had a fantastic time on the water destinations. The marina was very accommodating to launch our boats. This house really has it all!

We just returned from an amazing family getaway for the long Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful waterfront retreat. We were able to enjoy exactly what we were searching for with our group of our four children, my father, and a friend each for our children. We cooked together and enjoyed our meals in the large, well-appointed kitchen (and barbecue!), we played ping-pong and pop a shot and video games in the game rec room, hung out together to do puzzles and play games in the large family room, played in the water together on the kayaks and paddleboards, and roasted s'mores around the fire pit! Ah and the kids spent plenty of time in the hot tub! We had plenty of room to either spread out for some quiet time or all choose to be together in one place, and all of the bedrooms and bathrooms are wonderful. When rain kept us inside on Saturday, we were able to find plenty to do in the house to keep everyone occupied. And when dry weather and the sun found us on Sunday, we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful back yard and all that the boathouse and dock had to offer us. Truly, the yard and home are pristine and the location on the water is dreamy. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and the owners/management were highly responsive, answering any of our questions within minutes. I am so grateful that we were able to spend the long weekend as a family and friends in this new and hospitable home!

Absolutely beautiful home! The house had everything we needed to enjoy the lake and keep us entertained on a rainy day. The hot tub, board games, porch chairs and games were our favorites. The house was super clean and felt brand new. The upper level was amazing and perfect if you have kids. Daniel was very helpful and always responded quickly. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

House is great for large groups. We were rained in for three days, but there was plenty to do inside. Great open plan on the main level and loved the games and ping pong table. Every gathering place has a lot of space to fit a lot of people. Had we gone outside the outdoor areas look fabulous. A lot of seating and gathering areas, etc.
