PERFECTION. We had a mix of ages and interests and this property met every one of them!

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at Hemlock Haven at Lake Anna with our whole family — kids and grandparents included! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We especially loved spending time on the lake — kayaking was a highlight for everyone. It was the perfect place to relax, make memories, and enjoy nature together. We can’t wait to come back!

Place was amazing. I think we pretty much used every single amenity. Loved it!

Home was great. Nice, large space for a couple small families. Boat house was nice if you have a boat. Will be back for Lake Anna stays.

I had a great 4 night vacation with my family at this beautiful lake house. It went by too fast and we all wished we booked this place longer. First, the house is gorgeous, brand new, and pristine. The host paid attention to every little detail that you can think of and not think of to create a very luxiorious comfy home like experience at a serene location by Lake Anna. From the ping pong table, cinema size screen in the rec room, arcade machine, fully stocked kitchen, to the boat house stocked with all sort of non motorized sport toys for the lake, this home at this location is a magical getaway where I saw my family quickly unwind and disconnect from the daily tiring routine of work/home life in the DMV suburbs to the calm and peaceful nature of life by the lake.
We fished daily, sat on the dock watching the lake buzzing with natural life, saw an American eagle, kayaked, paddled boarded, floated on comfy large floaters, and swam for long hours in warm and pristine lake.

We've rented a lot of homes at Lake Anna, and this one was my family's favorite! It's a stunning property with a very well-thought-out floorplan, thoughtful amenities, and everything you need to just stay put and relax for the length of your stay. The location on the lake, and the private little beach and dock, were wonderful for swimming, relaxing, and watching the boats pass by while the sun sets. The hot tub was so relaxing, even during the week's brutal heat wave. Three full bathrooms, plus a half bath, gave everyone plenty of space to clean up. Our kids LOVED the upstairs space, the massive couch, and having their own "area." The beds and furniture were so comfortable, and everything worked as it should. We can't wait to return.

This place was just as advertised if not better. Beautiful and private property and well worth the money. Everything we needed was available at the home. We will be back.

Ruth Estate is a great house for experiencing all that Lake Anna offers! We had our children and grandchildren gather here for our annual summer vacation together and it did not disappoint. The boathouse contains every imaginable water toy to enjoy the lake - and we did, as it was a week of 100 degree weather! The air conditioned house was a welcome reprieve with a ton of games for us all to enjoy! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home!

Spacious, new, great amenities, everything you need for a great stay. Plus, the owners are very responsive, whenever we had any questions or something came up, they responded immediately and took care of it. Boat rental was great also.

Amazing place! Great place to host a group. So much fun being about to go from the house to the lake and back so easily. I recommend this place to everyone looking for a fun lake weekend.

Amazing house and very modern. Awesome dock setup and beautiful theater room. Lots of space and great open concept.

We gathered five families for a week, and this spot was perfect. The house is very large, and the rooms are very large, so you are able to be together while at the same time having enough space to not feel cramped together. Many gathering spaces both inside and outside. The basement was perfect for a family with kids, all of the games and the movie theater and the popcorn machine, even some arcade games for the adults like Golden Tee. We spent most of our time there or at the pool right out the basement doors, and obviously down at the lake. The dock was well maintained and great for our boat rental and paddle boards. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. Bring your own spices and oils etc. It is hard to find a spot everyone for 2 years old to 75 years old likes, but this place hit the mark. Would recommend to friends and family.

This house is fantastic for a large group, plenty of space and beautiful location. The hosts responded quickly to any questions we had about the property. I would highly recommend this house to future guests!

We were celebrating my mother in law's birthday and we had a little family reunion. The house was spotless clean. The pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful inside and out. Daniel and Zach were very communicative and ready to help on our stay. I am definitely coming back soon!

This house had great views and in a great location! We appreciate the room to bathroom ratio and everything was fresh and clean. The house is laid out perfectly for a large group with one big dinning area and a large sitting room off the kitchen. It came fully stocked down at the dock… which we appreciate because we don’t typically have “lake toys”. It was a great stay and we would definitely do it again!

Our family of 9 had a great week in this lovely home. Neighborhood was quiet and great for taking morning walks. We especially enjoyed the canoe, paddle boat, and kayaks. There was definitely enough room to accommodate all of us and each of the 5 bedrooms had its own bathroom which was definitely a plus. We also liked the Kitchen which was well stocked. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

We stayed with my 3 adult kids and parents. The house was very well equipped and close to everything. We really enjoyed the views, walking to play putt putt and get ice cream. Would definitely stay again.

House was amazing! We really enjoyed our time here. The house was beautiful and the slip was super helpful! The comfy chair in the living room was a big hit with our group. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is a huge bonus! Highly recommend staying here.
One thing we did not know (and no fault to the owner) is the private side of the lake is extremely warm. It is supposedly 98 degrees year round. Made it not refreshing as expected! It was less crowded which was awesome for tubing and jet skis. Just noting for anyone who isn't aware like us!

My 13 friends and I stayed at this house to celebrate my 40th birthday. The shared house was spotless and well-furnished, with everything you could need, including two fridges, a washer and dryer, a coffee machine, a Keurig maker, and more. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We would 100% stay again.
