Daniel’s place was beautiful and perfect for our family vacation. The house provided everything we needed for all parties, from the shuffle board, to kayaking, and boat house. The added boat rental option is a must. We had a great time being right on the water.

We had the best vacation here. Beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. Everything we were hoping for and more!

Staying at the Blue Heron Hideaway checked all the boxes for what we were looking for! It was very relaxing, comfortable, spacious and very beautiful throughout. We were so excited that it was just steps away from its own wide sandy beach with kayaks, a canoe, a paddle board and a fun floating dock, allowing our whole family to be together on the lake at same time! We had so many places to relax and enjoy being together, including a large hammock, a fire pit, and lots of big Adirondack chairs all in a row on the beach. Daniel, our host, was very quick to get back with us on any questions we had and very responsive to help and follow up to make sure our stay was everything we hoped for! And it was! It was hard to leave this beautiful home and setting but we are hopeful to enjoy it again soon!

We had a good stay at Private Pointe. The entire booking process was easy and the owners were very responsive. Lots of thoughtful touches from amenities to cooking and eating supplies.

We were very satisfied with the home. It was very spacious and there were ample beds/bedrooms for our large group. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped as well. The movie theatre and large hot tub were big hits. The paddle boards and kayaks were a very nice bonus that made our stay more fun.

We were very satisfied with the home. It was very spacious and there were ample beds/bedrooms for our large group. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped as well. Our family lives in DC and Richmond. This was a fantastic spot exactly halfway between. Everything you need right in the house and the dock.

Daniel’s home was, hands down, one of the nicest AirBnBs we ever stayed in. Not only was the home in pristine condition, the home was well stocked with amenities and fun items for the family. Daniel and his cohosts were very responsive when we had an issue with an appliance, and they went out of their way to accommodate our requests. We highly recommend this stay for those looking for lovely Lake Anna retreats.

Our big group of moms and sons (16) loved this location for a few days at the end of school year. The location is perfectly situated in a quiet cove. The kids loved the 2 kayaks and canoe for fishing, and the dock was great for swimming/fishing/enjoying sunset. There is an excellent backyard and fire pit. We also loved the back deck. The trees add nice shade options. The interior of the house is not huge but very efficient space that worked well for our big group. The kids mostly used the lower floor and loved all the games, while the adults enjoyed the upper. The kitchen had everything we needed for a large group and was very clean. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The beds were foam and very comfortable. We had a couple small issues at check-in, and we were so impressed how responsive and friendly the team was to address both. I would highly recommend for a few days or a week stay. We hope to rent again next year and bring a boat next time.

An amazing lakeside retreat! We stayed for 6 days and everything was absolutely perfect. The home was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay. The lake and surrounding forest were beautiful — we enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and peaceful nature walks. It was a truly relaxing and unforgettable vacation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace and nature. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality!

This was such a great time! We came here for my friend’s bachelor party, and we had such a great time in the game room, fishing by the lake, and hanging out in the hot tub. Daniel was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house is beautifully set up as soon as you get there, and the entire stay was seamless and fun!
Can’t recommend this place enough. We’re already talking about when we’re going to come back!

I really enjoyed my stay! The place was clean, well put together, and had plenty of amenities. The location was peaceful and perfect for a weekend getaway. Daniel was very responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend!

Daniel's home was literally "Off the Hook". Our group of 11 felt right at home from the moment we booked, and interacted with Daniel and his team.
We walked into a BRAND NEW HOME by the lake. There's something for everyone to do here -- you won't be disappointed -- whether you want to be outdoors, love cooking, lay back for movie, play pingpong, soak in the hot tub, play retro arcade games, or board games. There was never a moment where we wanted something, and it wasn't already in the house -- super well stocked kitchen, fishing poles, the Oasis, kayaks, SUPs, tons of games....etc. They got you covered!

We came here to celebrate my birthday, it was the first time my family had all been together since my dad passed, there are 6 of us and we brought our spouses, my mom and Aunt and all the nieces and nephews. I was worried about finding a place that would work for all of us and our unique needs, the cousins all range from 4-19, so it was a diverse group, and the weekend turned out perfectly, due to being in such a special place. Daniel was an amazing host, our son's sports schedule got us in really late our first night and I panicked at the gate (even though instructions were very clear) and he responded immediately and kindly without pointing out my error :). Plenty of space for everyone, the pool was awesome, the lake was perfect for our boat which we were able to dock on the private dock. We really enjoyed the private apartment for me and my husband, and the kids loved kayaking and the adults loved the hot tub and ping pong table and 2 kitchens. 10/10 would recommend! We'll be back!

This is a really cute cabin with a great backyard that leads down to the lake. We’d stayed there with a couple friends and had such a relaxing long weekend. Especially loved the screened in porch in the back that also overlooks the lake. We had some issues with the entrance lock, but we were immediately helped when we called. Had a lot of fun playing ping-pong in the basement and the kitchen is stocked well and there are plenty of towels. Checkout was also super easy. Overall, a great place to stay.
