11/10. Our friends get together once a year, about 8-12 ppl and this was probably our favorite! The view was incredible and the house was so cozy. Whether you wanted a quiet spot to relax, play noisy games, or come together in one room there was plenty of space for all of the above and more. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need with lots of pantry storage for the stuff we brought. Our baby is getting his sea legs and loved the hard wood floors in his walker. Very kid friendly with high chairs, baby tub, bibs, utensils, etc. Lots of games and gigantic tvs upstairs and downstairs great for group video games or watching the game. Hot tub was fantastic and overlooked the beautiful lake. Lots of natural light and huge windows making for some great squirrel and bird watching with a cup of Joe. Overall, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic stay at a truly beautiful home! It is right on Lake Anna and affords amazing views; every morning and evening we enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets over the lake. The house has everything one would need: fully stocked kitchen, spacious dining and living rooms, very comfortable beds, billiards, foosball, and ping pong tables, and Xbox setup inside the home, and boat dock, kayaks, and fire pit outside. Great communication from Daniel, who also made sure that there was a Christmas tree for us to enjoy during our Christmas stay. Lots of attention to detail in the home. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

This sprawling lakeside house was a great spot for our extended family ages 18-89, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, several dining spaces, and large, open living spaces. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed to cook for a large crowd, and having basic pantry items (spices, etc.) and an extra fridge in the garage were really helpful. Both sunrise and sunset were beautiful from the house, through the large windows upstairs and downstairs and from the decks. The hot tub was a bonus for those late night chat sessions. Though it was too cold over the Thanksgiving holiday for outdoor activities such as swimming and boating, there were plenty of indoor activities available, including ping pong, pool, etc., and cozy spots for reading and playing card games. The game room in the garage with the TV was great for getting in some video workouts. All household instructions were clear and well-communicated.

My family had a great stay! The location was lovely with a great view. I will say the pictures on the listing were not the most accurate and didn’t meet what we were expecting. A main reason why we chose this place over a couple other ones was in the pictures there looked like there was a kid play area with lots of toys. We traveled with our two-year-old who is a very busy body with lots of energy, so a playroom was a must to keep him entertained. There was only a closet with unusable toys in it. Other than that there also wasn’t any usable board games anywhere in the house. I will say Daniel was very attentive and did send over a bunch of board games for our use the rest of our stay which was so nice! Over all we really did enjoy our little getaway here and would recommend!

Great property to stay. Plenty of room for people to hang out. There were 9 of us and we never felt crowded. A lot of nice little touches like a small fenced in area if you bring a dog.Very clean and modern house. Host was very responsive and extremely nice! Boathouse is awseome and we fished a lot with all of catching something.We would absolutely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Daniel's house @ Lake Anna. The lake house had kayaks, paddle boats, floats and other gears for water activities. It's a big house with a lot of amenities and games like ping pong, pool, foosball, card table, badminton, etc. Breathtaking view of the Lake Anna and easy access to the water were icing on the cake. Daniel was very responsive and courteous. We'd definitely love to go back during our next trip to the Lake Anna.

We had a large group for a weekend trip and the house was everything we needed. Dock was great for fishing and swimming off of. There was plenty of room to get everyone together for dinners and for entertainment and the property management was great at responding quickly.

We had a great time! It fit our group perfectly and we’d happily go back. There was a bit more wear and tear than expected and the oven wasn’t working past 380 but they were very responsive and nice trying to fix it. I recommend bug spray since the bugs are plentiful there. Also, if your kiddos are picky sleepers, know that the bunk room mattresses aren’t super comfy. It is nice in there though because there isn’t much extra light. Overall great stay, lots to do, and really kind hosts.

Amazing house with plenty of space for our large group. We loved being on the lake. The boat house had kayaks, paddle boards, floats and plenty of other gear to use during our stay. All amenities were great. Only negative was the oven wasn’t working on the first day, however, our host was super responsive and gave helpful information. Overall we had a great time!

Our family had a wonderful time and loved the house and dock area by the lake! The house was more than adequate for our family of 13 people and was clean and neat when we arrived. The only drawback was that in the description of the property and photos that are in the listing it indicated that there was a specific play room for kids with lots of toys and books, etc. While there were a few toys in a closet, there were no books and what had been pictured as the playroom now hosts a poker table. It was a bit of a disappointment as we didn't bring our own kids entertainment along since we were expecting stuff to be there.

What a great place for our families week vacation. We usually go to the beach, but found Daniel’s that would accommodate all of us. So we changed it up this year. It was great. The expansive windows and decks that overlook the lake are just amazing. Being able to sit and watch the family play on the water and have everything you need was so much fun. The kitchen and rooms have everything you need. The “extras” of game tables, pool table, etc add to the endless fun. Daniel communicates quickly and proactively about your stay which is so helpful. When we make our list of options for next year’s family trip I’m sure this will be near the top. Thanks for a great week on the lake!

Ruth Estate is a great house for experiencing all that Lake Anna offers! We had our children and grandchildren gather here for our annual summer vacation together and it did not disappoint. The boathouse contains every imaginable water toy to enjoy the lake - and we did, as it was a week of 100 degree weather! The air conditioned house was a welcome reprieve with a ton of games for us all to enjoy! Highly recommend!

The house is laid out perfectly for a large group with one big dinning area and a large sitting room off the kitchen. My family and friends have been coming to Lake Anna every year for a few years now. We've also stayed in properties managed by other companies before. I have to say, this property is top notch, so is Daniel's service. This is a very beautiful house situated in a large, private, lake facing lot. One can watch both sunrise and sunset from the property. The house is well maintained and generously (!!) stocked with all kinds of necessities and supplies from kitchen to bathrooms to the boathouse to the fire pit! It has a lot of family and game space for adults and teenagers to hang out. Communication with Daniel is very smooth. All instructions are clear and timely. I would definitely check out his listings when we come down to Lake Anna again. Highly recommend!

We seriously had such an amazing week - we can't recommend it enough! We celebrated a birthday with friends and it was the perfect amount of space for our 5 families. The view is breathtaking and there were plenty of activities for everyone to keep them happy! Everything was nice. This is the best air b&b in Virginia I’ve stayed at. When I first walked in, I immediately saw the beautiful view of the lake. It felt like I was at home. If I needed a kitchen tool or supply, it was there and I could just get it. There were more than enough kitchen supplies. Honestly, there were enough of everything. I forgot some things like a towel but the house had it. The house was stocked up on everything. The garage was definitely one of the best spots in the house. The kids were busy playing with everything. There were many fun activities. Overall, I loved the house so much and I will be coming back.
