Our stay at Gold Cove was, in many ways, fantastic. The house itself is gorgeous. It is beautifully built and well-planned, exceptionally well-supplied, and the scenery is picturesque. Daniel and his management team are top notch. They were wonderfully responsive to any questions or needs that arose during our stay. If our stay was only based on these factors, it would be 5 stars - hands down.However one thing we wish we'd known in advance was how HOT the lake temperature would be. During our mid-July stay, the lake temperature from surface to bottom measured at 100.2. Given the muggy outdoor temperatures, the lake did not offer relief from the hot weather, which was a significant disappointment for our group. This detail would have been really helpful to know. We made the best of it using paddle boards and kayaks which were supplied and still had a great time, just can't give a full 5 stars without disclosure of this fact. This house would be an ideal getaway for cooler times of the year.

Look no further. Book it. Great location. Great home. Well appointed. Gracious host. Held 13 of us with plenty of room to spare. Boat ramp is a bonus!

Beautiful, clean, and spacious house with a lot of amenities to keep my family happy whether we were relaxing or playing inside or in the river. The host was very communicative and friendly. Check-in/out was as easy (stress free) as possible. Great value for the $$. I would absolutely stay there again and would recommend it to any of my family and friends.

Clean house, very spacious, everyone was super comfortable, comfortable bedding and beds, great amenities, we were all thrilled!! Had a fire each night at the fire pit and hung out on the dock during the day.

We loved the house. The hosts were fantastic with all our questions ahead of time. The stay was amazing with the deck, the views, the waterfront, the fire pit. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Highly recommend. The stay was seamless, had all the basic amenities, and the vibe was killer. Loved it so much!

We had a fantastic time here! The house is very well appointed and super comfortable. Plenty of space, great views. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

The property was absolutely beautiful! Check in was incredibly easy as well as communication with Mary and Chris. They were so sweet and accommodating. The lake traffic was minimal which made swimming easy and relaxing, especially with the beach entrance. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of a relaxing stay on the lake.

Beautiful place with everything you need. Host was super accommodating. They got us on to the Cutalong golf course and hooked us with a boat rental company!

We had ourselves and the families of our three kids in the House for a week. Everything we needed was there and the location and dock setup were excellent, kids had plenty to do and the house was laid out so well. If we ever come back to this area we'll definitely look into renting this property once again.....we had a great time !!!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location. There were accommodations for everyone in our party and the host (Daniel) was very responsive to our questions and needs. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and then some. Our guests constantly in awe of the view and ease of access to everything. Even the minor inconvenience of not having pool/beach towels was resolved the same day (and possibly earlier had we noticed right away). This was a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful and private, had a wonderful family vacation. You know it’s a great place when you’re not ready to leave— it was such a relaxing and rejuvenating stay. Felt right at home.

This was honestly the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. It is the perfect size for a large group with plenty of space for everyone. The dinning room table and living room fit our entire group of 12 very comfortably. The amenities provided were honestly above and beyond. Anything that we could have possibly needed was there. We were able to use of the life jackets, paddle boards, kayaks, floaties, etc. The hosts were extremely responsive & very kind. The instructions for check in and check out were extremely clear. I would 10/10 recommend this Airbnb and honestly hope that we have to opportunity to come back. Thank you for such an amazing experience!!

Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful property. It’s clear the house is new, well-maintained, and located in a stunning spot. The basement was full of activities that kept both kids and adults entertained. We were lucky to have perfect weather — the lake water was warm and inviting, and we especially enjoyed the canoeing. There were enough comfortable beds for everyone, and the view from the house was absolutely breathtaking. Having plenty of towels on hand was also a big plus.The only small downside we noticed was during grilling. There were quite a few spider webs on the roof that we hadn’t noticed at first, and once we started cooking, some spiders began coming down from the ceiling. We ended up moving the grill, but it’s an easy fix for next time.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated everything your home had to offer.

We had a great time! It fit our group perfectly and we’d happily go back. There was a bit more wear and tear than expected and the oven wasn’t working past 380 but they were very responsive and nice trying to fix it.
I recommend bug spray since the bugs are plentiful there. Also, if your kiddos are picky sleepers, know that the bunk room mattresses aren’t super comfy. It is nice in there though because there isn’t much extra light.
Overall great stay, lots to do, and really kind hosts.

Such a beautiful area. Peaceful and quiet. The home itself was extremely spacious- bedrooms are huge. Everything was clean and modern and well-cared for. Views and access to the lake was incredible. Especially appreciate the attention to the needs of kids.

Fantastic home on Lake Anna. This house is a fully equipped, 5 bed, 5.5 bath clean home. The kitchen has every gadget you need to feel at home. The house has so many amenities from an air hockey table, hot tub, kayaks, canoe, paddle boards, pickleball equipment, board games, a private beach area. So many positive things about this house and Lake Anna. Daniel was extremely communicative and helpful every step of the way. He (and his partners) truly go above and beyond. My family of five ( 3 boys, 7, 5 &2) had an absolute blast here and asked when we were coming back within minutes of leaving to head home. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at S’mores Lake Anna house. House was fantastic, roomy enough for all 14 of us. Kids had a great time.
Nice dock with kayaks, paddle boards, and lily pads.
Great amenities, very comfortable and spotless.
Highly recommend - we all enjoyed our stay there.
