The house seems like a relatively new build. It was modern, beautiful and cozy. Good open spaces and multiple places to sit and connect. We were a group of 3 moms with their 5 children. The upstairs bedroom/play area was perfect for a kid sleepover experience, while the moms each got a big (very comfy) bed to themselves. We used the hot tub and the playground and maximized the green space in the back yard. Nearly everyone took a turn in the modern bathtub in the master bathroom! We took daily walks down to the lake and little beach. The playground at the beach was also fun and different than what was at the house. It was a great location for our trip! If you're interested in doing some activities around Lake Anna, it did seem like most things were about 30 minutes away. We had a little trouble getting in and a few questions throughout our stay; our hosts were quite responsive.

Beautiful lake house home and looks 10x better in person! I loved the privacy of the home, not secluded, but you could still see walks of life. My group and I did notice the freezer and fridge temps were kind of low at arrival (freezer had a puddle of water in ice bucket), but my group and I made it work! Daniel was an extremely informative host and kept us up to date with all that was happening in and around the lake house property. Truly a wonderful time. We’d love to come back in the summer!

We really enjoyed our weekend stay. We had three generations and everyone had something to do. We spent a lot of time in the game room and loved the pool table! Outside was peaceful and the fire pit was perfect for smores. It was chilly but we still had a good time relaxing on the boat dock which had a neat upper deck for some beautiful views of the lake. We will definitely be back!

The house is very nice, clean and well equipped, the kitchen has almost everything you need during your stay. It is also very family friendly with toys and board games. Very nice place to walk around and private lake access for kayaking makes it a perfect spot for relaxing and refreshing. I think a long weekend was not enough and needed more time in this beautiful area. The hosts are very responsive and supportive and really helpful. We recommend this place to everyone going to lake Anna!

Daniel went above and beyond to accommodate us and we are forever grateful for the hospitality and generosity. This is one of the best airbnbs we’ve been do and will definitely book again in the future. It has so much to do and is at a beautiful location. Extremely clean and feels like home with everything you could think of and more.

I took a leadership group to this location. The pictures do not do this place justice. Everything the host explained was as he said. The instructions were clear. The address was also easy to find. The home was spacious, and there was enough room for everyone to feel comfortable.
There were 3 total refrigerators and that was extremely helpful! We used some firewood to sit around the fire, and played the games in the located in the game room. We truly enjoyed ourselves, and are grateful for the hospitality.

Wow! Daniel's lake house is nothing short of remarkable. It is truly a beautiful and special place. It is so clean and no expense was spared on this property. If desired you never have to leave. There is so much to do inside and outside. We celebrated my daughter's 16th bday there. They went kayaking, roasted smores, enjoyed the hot tub, played pool, card games, enjoyed the deck, and so much more. The kids even did a polar swim, which was amuzing. It was easy with the beautiful dock with stairs to climb up when they were quickly trying to get out of the water. I was able to cook all their meals due to the fully stocked kitchen. It had everything I needed. The house is amazing, the views are stunning and Daniel was very kind and responsive. We did not want to leave. We can't wait to return!

We chose this house for an early Spring “Guys Weekend”. It was the perfect location for a weekend getaway to relax and have some fun. The location on the lake & views speak for themselves. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous. Thoughtfully appointed and very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable and bathrooms spotlessly clean. No complaints! We’d love to go back.

By far the best stay that I have had through airbnb!! The house was well stocked and had plenty of extras for all the guests to do. The house was incredibly spacious and at no point did we feel overcrowded. If I could give 10 stars then I would! Daniel and the team were very responsive to any questions that I had prior to the stay and I did not have to reach out one time while I was there which speaks volumes. Most definitely a place that I would book again!!

Beautiful Home right on the private lake! Arriving and getting in the home was super easy. Super clean and modern decor. The fire place in the master was beautiful and was a nice surprise as I had not realized there was one in there. Plenty of space and rooms for a family getaway. The kitchen had all you need to make meals. An exercise bike was available on the main floor in one of the rooms and a desk to work remotely was available in the master. The basement was the perfect place for the kids to hang out and have fun. The coach was so comfy and perfect for movie nights and playing Xbox which came with the rental. The lake was absolutely gorgeous and kayaks and a paddle boat were available for use with the rental and life jackets. The hot tub was a great plus and super clean and easy to use. The fridge had filtered water which was nice because we didn’t have to buy water bottles. A Nespresso was available and a few pods. Laundry and dryer also available. We will definitely be back!

I came here with six other women for a writer's retreat and it was an amazing experience! Daniel's lake house was the perfect venue for us. Very cool home with a great kitchen and lots of bathrooms. So much space! Highly recommend. :)

Great place to stay! Everything we needed was there and the house was so spacious and clean. Plus the host was so responsible - we would definitely stay with them again

Our stay was AMAZING. We had a few incidents but the host/ property management group was amazing and patient with us. The house is definitely worth every penny and more. We didn't have to go anywhere but the grocery store. The kids were entertained the whole time. There was enough space for everyone and I even was able to hide a few times and take a nap. lol. You could play music in the living room and not even hear it in the suites. The outside bonfire was amazing and we loved that as well. The pier was very peaceful, just be careful of the kids near the lake ofcourse.

Beautiful house and location. Very clean and very spacious. We loved the patio and the views of the location, weather was perfect for us to just sit outside and relax. Super close to the lake as well with a small private beach to access the lake.

Captains Quarters was a beautiful space and we enjoyed it very much. It was very easy to communicate with hosts. We definitely want to come back

Was just looking for a quiet place to relax. It was more house than we needed but would easily accommodate a large family. There are lots of activities that could be done there at the waterfront when the weather warms up. The basement is full of games and activities. It's all very clean and pristine.
