Stay was as described. Great location and easy access.

What a spectacular place! We had a 3 day joyous family Christmas celebration in this well stocked, amazing house. Each bedroom was comfortable for adults and kids alike. The main living space was open, yet had separate spaces for conversation, teaching one of the littles to play the ukulele, and playing card games with the others. Even though it was cold outside some couldn’t resist searching for shells and playing in the sand at the beach area. S’mores at the fire pit was a hit.
We’re hoping to stay at Gold Cove this summer to get a whole new experience at this amazing house!

The house was nice, clean, and fresh, and the host was very kind and responded quickly to all our messages. The house was spacious enough for the number of guests listed and is located in a perfect spot to enjoy a beautiful lake view. The kids had a great time in the house, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The only thing that could have made the stay even better would have been the option for an earlier check‑in around 3 PM and a slightly later checkout around 11 AM, especially when traveling with kids. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. The space was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and close to local attractions. The host was very welcoming and always available if we had questions. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Perfect place to stay with multiple families, nice clean house , enjoyed everything about it

We stayed here with our family along with two other families, including children, and it was absolutely perfect for a quiet, peaceful getaway. The lakefront setting was beautiful and relaxing, and the home had plenty of space for our group of 12 (including 6 kids) to be comfortable.
The game room was a huge hit and offered something for everyone, especially great for enjoying time indoors during the cold winter months. We also loved spending one evenings at the outdoor firepit by the lake, which was truly amazing and made the stay extra special.
Everything about the place exceeded our expectations, and everyone had a great time. The host was extremely helpful and provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions for both check-in and check-out.
This was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve had, and we would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay!

This lake home was beautiful and perfect for our holiday. The space was as described and Daniel was very communicative. When we encountered a small household issue, he was extremely gracious about it and made us feel like valued guests in his response. Would definitely stay here again in the future, especially in a warmer month to enjoy the lake!

We had a wonderful time at Off the Hook! The house was perfect for our family. Love the ensuite bathrooms for each room and the perfectly stocked kitchen. Everything was clean and modern just as the pictures portrayed. The theater room and gaming station were a huge hit with our kids. The fire pit was convenient, well maintained and great for creating family memories. The only negative would be the lack of TVs in the bedrooms. Traveling with the elderly and especially during the off season, having TVs in the rooms allows all age groups to relax at their convenience. Overall, it is a great weekend getaway and we will definitely be back!

We stayed at Daniel’s place after Christmas for 3 days as an a spot in between Washington DC and Richmond VA for my family. Looked exactly like the photos as the listing. The house was beautiful, looked recently built, new. Bathroom in the master BR was awesome.
As a bonus, there is a small office space you can work from as well as a small office in the master BR.
What I loved was this was one of the best stocked houses we have been to. (Not that folks should take advantage of that - you should bring what you need) … plates, silverware, cookware, spices, cooking oil, wine glasses - it was everything you need to entertain. Kitchen was wonderful. Always look the Keurig coffee maker.
Daniel was great. We had an internet issue because someone had accidentally severed the fiber optic line. It was fixed the next day. Something beyond Daniel’s control. Overall great house and made for a great trip.

This property was perfect for our family Christmas together. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms allowed everyone some privacy yet the very large kitchen and living areas gave us all a chance to visit and cook together. The kitchen was well stocked for baking and general meal prep. We all enjoy cooking and eating together so that was a highlight. We were also able to bring our one small dog which really helped with planning. As it was December and rather chilly, we didn’t take advantage of the kayaks or other outdoor spaces, like the fire pit. We stayed in the living room with a fire there and enjoyed being cozy! It really was a perfect place for us!

The house was very cool, nice, and fully equipped for a great trip. Everything we needed was provided, and we really enjoyed our stay. Planing to be there in the summer☺️

The location was perfect. It was quiet and specious the amenities were great! Our family of 10 enjoyed everything that was there to offer. We’d love to visit in the warmer seasons for the pool and lake amenities. Only complaint is my family wanted to stay even longer! Host was very responsive and left clear instructions for checking and checkout!

We had incredible stay celebrating a birthday and engagement with our close family and friends. The hosts were attentive with checking in and responded with a sense of urgency when we needed anything. The pictures didn’t do the place justice, it was truly a beautiful and serene space, our family is looking forward to returning when it warms up outside !

Great home, great location, great communication from Daniel. Made our Christmas special and was exactly what we were looking for. Steps to the lake, a great dock with great views, a nice screened in porch, kitchen and grill with all the amenities. Overall a great stay.

Great house and great host!

Excellent place for a Christmas week. Very quiet and serene. Loved the fact that the master suite was on the main floor. Grocery store within 15 min along with liquor store, pizza and Chinese restaurants. Other attractions a bit further away. Would love to try this in the summer.

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was spotlessly clean and clearly well cared for, which made us feel comfortable the moment we arrived. It was well-appointed with everything we needed, from the kitchen to the living spaces, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time. The views of the lake were absolutely beautiful providing a peaceful backdrop throughout our stay—morning coffee and evening sunsets were definite highlights. One of our favorite features was the playroom for the kids, which kept them happily entertained and added so much fun for the whole family.
Overall, this lake house was the perfect combination of comfort, scenery, and family-friendly amenities. We would absolutely recommend it and would love to return in the future.
