We had a group of families (3 infants, 4 littles, and adults) and this stay was well accommodating for our large group.
The space is great for a group. Lots of fridge space and a well supplied kitchen allowed for all of our meals prepped. Bedrooms and living areas were very comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor space, including a fire pit and dock onto the lake! It is within a neighborhood so you will see the neighbors, even in the off season.
Considerations for families with children, there are two stairs (to upper and lower levels) without doors and could be unsafe for small children; the lake level door, while secure, does not have a lock that is out of reach for smaller children.
The host is extremely proactive and responsive. We encountered an issue and they responded promptly and provided help on a holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. I traveled with a group of 8 and the house had plenty of space where everyone felt comfortable. The house was very organized and had labels in the kitchen to help easily locate utensils, cooking supplies, etc. we loved the view of the lake from the backyard and was able to enjoy activities such as kayaking. We only had one issue upon check in. However, it was quickly addressed and the hosts were very accommodating! I personally would love to come back, especially in the Spring/Summer and I would stay here again!

We so enjoyed the property and it was perfect for a family visit. The home was very clean and items available for use were thoughtfully chosen - like providing matches for the fire pit and trash bags for the kitchen. We also liked the empty cabinets to store our food so the kitchen was not cluttered. Everyone loved the pickleball court and hot tub. The host always responded quickly and provided important details in a timely manner. We highly recommend this vacation home.

Beautiful home for a large family or even two smaller families since half the rooms are upstairs and the other half are downstairs. The lake view is gorgeous.

We had a wonderful time. Felt like right at home. So much space for kids to play. Beautiful views and amenities! Even in the winter, we were able to use the fire pit and the play set. There were enough bedrooms and beds for everyone to have their own space.

We have been going to lake Anna now for 5 years and this home by far is the most beautiful! It had everything we needed to have a fun and entertaining News Years. The house exceeded our expectations! We are already making plans to come back in the summer.

We had an amazing Christmas/New Year’s family vacation with an original family of six that has evolved into 17 with spouses and kids! This house has so many different areas for adults and children to be together but also separate when wanted. Lake Anna is a great central location for our family to come together since we have outgrown any single family home of our own. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Master suite is beautiful

We stayed at the Sunrise property for four nights in December 2025 as a group of five families, and it was a fantastic experience for both kids and adults! The property is perfectly equipped with everything a large group needs to have a great time.
We spent our days playing cards, shooting pool, and enjoying movies in the common areas. A huge highlight for the kids was catching fish right on-site! The property managers were incredibly responsive and handled all our questions promptly, which made our stay stress-free. If you are looking for a place that truly has everything for a family getaway, this is it. We highly recommend it!
