We booked this house to celebrate my husband’s grandmother’s 80th birthday (in lieu of a birthday party, she just wanted to spend time with her kids and grandchildren). The house accommodated each family that came and the pool kept all the kids entertained and occupied. The 3 bedroom in-law suite was perfect for people who wanted to go to bed early. We are talking about making this a yearly thing and would absolutely rebook this house.

Beautiful home in a great location! We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be back. Daniel was friendly, responsive, and made check-in and check-out super easy.

This place is beautiful! It was just what we were hoping for based on the pics. Also, the host was very responsive and answered questions almost immediately. The only critiques we had was that the beds were a little hard and didn’t really fit the overall aesthetic, and the walls were thin so the house echos and you can hear everything, but overall we loved the home and would definitely stay again.

This is such a beautiful house and was perfect for our group. The amenities were perfect - kayaks, paddle board, grill. We had a lovely time.

Exactly as advertised; phenomenal lakefront home & location; Daniel was an excellent host; accurate & timely communication; and most important-- all of our 8-member group LOVED THIS HOUSE!! ** Bottom Line: Book it and enjoy 😉

Had a great relaxing weekend here at the lake to get away from the rush of nova. The views were amazing, everything was tidy, and we loved the firepit for the cool fall evenings-thankful for the abundant firewood. We were also a very short walk to ice cream which the kid loved. Overall would definitely make a return visit.

If you want a place that is relaxing and helps you rest and get away for a weekend, this place does just that! Couldn't have asked for a better spot for a church retreat with students, they had such a great time and already want to go back next year!

We had our annual get together at Lake Anna with 6 adults and 6 kids and had a great time! Plenty of space for all of us with a very well stocked kitchen. It’s right on the lake with a dock which was great for fishing! The place was clean and Dan was very responsive! We would definitely love to come back!

The lake house was beautiful and it was a wonderful stay!

This house was exactly as it appeared in the photos. It was secluded, spacious, clean, extremely well appointed, and had great views from everywhere.
There was actually a TV in the screened in area of the deck and another on the dock that was not shown in the pictures which were very pleasant surprises.
The hot tub was also even nicer and bigger than it appeared to be in the pictures, and I must say that it appeared nice and big. Furthermore, it was perfectly maintained and easy to operate.
Daniel and Edvin were also fantastic. We are a fairly low maintenance group and didn't need much more than was already provided but, they communicated the entry requirements and sent another message mid-way through the week to ensure we didn't need anything.
We are already planning our trip for next year and it will definitely be at this, or one of Daniels other fine properties.

We had a fun time as a family in Daniel’s place! It was right by the lake so we enjoyed the scenery, kayaking and fishing. It was also close to the beautiful lake Anna state park. Daniel was also a great host! He was very accommodating and responsive.

My friends and I stayed a weekend at Daniel's place and loved it! The house is beautiful as is the lake. We loved using the fire pit, hot tub, and dock. Daniel was very responsive and accommodating of our requests. We would definitely rent this place again!

Large home with a well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Definitely a great place to stay.

First and foremost, the house was clean. We have booked some places on AB&B that were certainly lacking in the cleanliness department. Secondly, and in my option, as important as the first Daniel was a great host and responded immediately when I did have a question.
The house was as beautiful as the way it looks in the pictures. My wife and I were celebrating a pretty big milestone and really just wanted county peace and quiet, the Owl Nest delivered in spades. The neighborhood had a quiet time after 10 I believe so you didn’t have to worry about loud music from neighbors, for an old guy, I appreciate that. The hot tube was nice to unwind after all of the relaxing we did each day but the house is close enough to DC AND the Virginia Beach area to make a day trip if you wanted to. My favorite part was the 7-12 deer that would pass through each morning as I drank my coffee on the patio. Great place to
