Excellent location, wonderful house and a perfect place for large families or a group of friends

The stay was wonderful

Daniel was an outstanding host, and we couldn’t have asked for a better lake house experience. The home was immaculate, exceptionally clean, and immediately felt like a home away from home. Everything was well-maintained and exactly as described.
One of the highlights was the beautiful dock, which made bringing and enjoying our boat incredibly convenient. The property was peaceful, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing with family and friends.

This is a great place for a large group getaway! Plenty of space, lots of amenities, new construction so everything is in good shape. The kitchen has a lot of cooking equipment and dining supplies and overall the house has thoughtful touches for young kids. We loved having kayaks and SUPs as well as a variety of life jackets in different sizes. Lots of nice bath and beach towels; the sheets are polyester if that matters to you. I booked this place specifically because the checkout instructions provided in the listing were short; once you book the checkout instructions provided are more complex but Daniel was nice enough to let us follow the original list (at this price point I don't want to be stripping the beds). Overall, recommend and would stay here again.

The house is spectacular and will be even moreso once the pool is completed. The owners were accommodating. The house is stocked full of things to do, from baking to games for the kids. We were never bored,

We enjoyed a stay with our extended family at Lake Anna. The house was well stocked, had great amenities, and was very clean. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. We would love to stay again in the future.

Heated pool was wonderful, gorgeous house. Nice fire pit for smores, had fun with kayaks, great lake house!

We were very happy with the house for our family. We did have a few issues. The lily pad he shows in the picture was in terrible condition. That is the one thing the grandkids like to do, but we did not feel comfortable letting them play on it. It had a huge tear in the middle of the pad. It definitely needs to be replaced. Outdoor furniture needs to be clean and the pool was okay. It needed to be clean. The doors did not lock properly, and we had a 19-month granddaughter so we did not feel comfortable with this, especially when the doors go to the pool. Overall, we had a great time. Hopefully, these issues will be fixed so we can return next year.

Outstanding location for relaxing and water sports. Great property for family reunion. Even had a Tesla charger that wasn’t mentioned in list but came in handy. Cottage was connected to main house that was also a nice surprise.

My family has been coming to Lake Anna for six years and this is the best property we have stayed at over the years. From the minute we walked in the house and saw the view through the floor to ceiling windows we knew this was going to be a fabulous stay. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. The number of baths, bedrooms, screened in porch, fire pit and boat house made this property the perfect place for us!

This home was perfect. The house itself was amazing and had everything needed for a family getaway. Location was great, right across the street from the neighborhood lake access. Instructions and responses from Daniel were quick and helpful. Our family would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing week at the lake house. The house was very spacious, comfortable, and welcoming. Access to the lake, 50 feet from the house. The kids had a great time, swimming, fishing, and kayaking.

We have been coming to Lake Anna for years and this was by far the best place we have stayed. Beautiful, cozy, quiet. Will absolutely be back!

Daniel’s place was a great for our 3-night vacation (a 4-family gathering). The kids of all ages had a blast with the games and in the water. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house - and that much was provided there. The hot tub, pedal boat, and provided kayaks were such a nice and well-used amenity!

Penny's Quarters instantly became our home away from home. Low key, private, and everything you need for a fun family lake vacation. The house has everything you need to have an enjoyable stay. We were blessed with terrific weather during our stay so we were mainly on the dock each day enjoying the splash pad and inflatable dock in the deeper water. If weather turned sour though, the house would have provided plenty of options to keep everyone entertained with a kid's dream basement filled with fun toys and activities. This home/property is a great place for families and we look forward to booking again next summer! Thank you!

It was our first trip to Lake Anna and we fell in love! The house was perfect for a group. From the dock to the house - it was all perfect. Rock Island is a great location however we rarely left the house. Early morning fishing, afternoon tubing and late night porch sitting made for a wonderfully relaxing vacation! We will definitely return to Rock Island and this home. The host Daniel was responsive and helpful. Great vacation!

Our stay at this Lake Anna home was nothing short of wonderful. The house is beautiful, perfectly maintained, and the lake views are absolutely stunning. The amenities were perfect and it was a great place to stay with our entire family. We loved spending time on the water and relaxing on the porch and in the backyard. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!
