Daniel home was a lovely and relaxing place for a family vacation! It was extremely clean, spacious and well appointed with a beautiful view of lake. It is about a 2 hour drive from Northern Virginia, which is an extra plus. We could envision staying there again in the future.

A World Away worked perfectly for our large family. We had nine adults and seven kids in six family groups. The way the house was set up worked perfectly for each family group to have their own area but then there were common areas big enough for all of us to gather. The outside was great for swimming and playing and you can see it all from inside and the decks. We rented a pontoon boat for three days and we were able to tie it up at the dock the whole time. It was a wonderful , memorable family vacation.

The house was impressive and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The views from the lakeside deck was beautiful. The host was friendly and responsive to questions. Our Girl's Trip was a success and everyone had a nice and relaxing time.

Beautiful house with absolutely everything you could possibly need! We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at Lakeside Cove. Large table for dinners and lots of games and spade for the kids to keep themselves entertained! Our host was quickly responsive to any questions we had.

Great home with beautiful setting on the lake.

We had a family reunion where 22 people had to both fit and have separate private places. This house offered both incredibly well. The cottage placement is so unique that it is both a separate space but also attached by a foyer making it easy to come into it if needed. The porches were wonderful and offered beautiful views of the lake. The kitchen was well stocked. I loved the provided kayaks. The pool is beautiful - it was incredible to swim in the pool and see the lake. Loved it that there were so many towels provided. Our whole family from newlyweds to 70 and even teenagers - all enjoyed the house in its beauty, comfort, and flexibility

The house accommodated our large family extremely well and provided plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, making it easy to prepare meals at home rather than dining out.
The location was perfect for skiing, tubing, and wakeboarding, and the dock house was a great place to relax and watch the activities on the lake. One thing to note is that the beach area is rocky, so be sure to bring water shoes if you plan to spend time there.
Overall, we loved the property and had a wonderful stay. We would definitely consider renting it again in the future.

Perfect lake house! Instant relaxation! Paddleboards, kayaks, and hot tub! We brought our three teen daughters and their friends. The bedroom set up was perfect. We loved using the kayak and paddleboards! The coffee bar was amazing! Thank you for providing beach towels. We had everything we needed and then some! Wish we could have stayed longer!

This place is even better than it looks in the photos and it already looks great. Super clean, very communicative host, and an incredible location right on the lake for a very reasonable price. The game room in the garage is also really fun! Truly would not change anything. We had such a great time and I’m already looking forward to staying here again.

First time staying at Lake Anna in the early summer. House was a perfect location in between DC and Richmond. The current photos on the AirBNB don't do the lsiting justice.
It is a beautiful house, older house but with lots of character and charm. Very clean. It has an amazing sun room where you sit, read and look out. The property is massive with a fire pit on one side, sitting area on the other side, griddle BBQ in the front ... my mom loved just walking around and looking at the lake and outdoors.
The bonus is the boathouse situated right on the cove. Table for dinner, chairs to lounge, kayaks and a paddle board ... and other amenities such as life vests, fishing pole ... wonderful place to just relax and to fish. Would love to come back again.

We had a fantastic stay at Lake Anna and would absolutely return. The house was spotless, spacious, and very well laid out, giving everyone plenty of room to relax. The deck quickly became our favorite spot for breakfast and dinner.
Daniel is perhaps the most responsive host I've ever worked with. We were informed upon arrival that the washing machine was not working, but the issue was addressed immediately and a replacement was installed the very next morning. Impressive!
We especially enjoyed the fire pit, boat dock, and easy access to the lake. The location was perfect for launching our paddle boards, and we spent the majority of our time out on the water. While the downstairs was well equipped with games and entertainment, we honestly didn't spend much time indoors. You stay on the lake to enjoy the lake!!
Overall, this was a wonderful property in a great location with an outstanding host. Highly recommended.

Wonderful property and house. The house is EVEN better in person. We didn’t realize just how big the house is- the separate game space was incredible, didn’t disrupt the kiddos sleeping upstairs while the adults played pool & music downstairs. Each room has fans and the AC kept the house nice and cool! Only downside was all the batteries were dead in all TV remotes, outside lights did not work which made it especially hard to see & lake VERY warm. Overall 5/5, left happy and likely to return

Wonderful host and great house, highly recommend!

I had such a wonderful stay at Daniel's property! It was exactly what my friend's, family, and I were hoping for with a quick getaway on the water. Everything was phenomenal and we hope to come back for a longer stay in the future!

I can't say enough about how perfect this property was for our family reunion: spacious, gorgeous, well-appointed (especially the kitchen - wow!). It met every single one of our criteria and needs. The setting, Lake Anna, was the cherry on top.

The home was absolutely lovely! The kitchen was well stocked and the access to grill and flat top was amazing. Exactly as described. The check in and out process was smooth and easy. Daniels communication was outstanding. Definitely looking forward to returning.
