Love this place

We had a fabulous stay at Home Base. It was so beautiful and comfortable. Felt like home away from home right away. The views are stunning and the house is well designed to take advantage of those. Daniel was super--answering questions within 15 minutes or less. At Daniel's recommendation, we rented a pontoon boat that was delivered right to the dock. What a great way to explore the lake. We loved the location since it is so close to Tim's restaurant and the ice cream place but feels like you are in the middle of lovely neighborhood. We hope to make this an annual tradition!

We had a great stay. The amenities were great for families with young children. The house was immaculate and was a great weekend getaway!

Gorgeous, clean and had everything we needed there already! We grilled and had an amazing time by the lake. Finding which house It was on the cul de sac was initially difficult but the host had clear instructions (we just didn’t want to drive onto someone’s property without being sure). The water had a smell sometimes but the host communicated with us early that It was tested and safe!

The house was great and the Boat house was wonderful. The house was not cleaned good, popcorn on the floor in family room, floors were sticky, closet in basement bedroom had items in it and we cleaned the ceiling fan was dirty. We had to sweep the screen in patio, we had to go to Dollar store and buy something to clean the grill so we could cook. Lots of spider webs at boat house so we swept them down and really needs cleaned. The raft to lay on under the down was torn so was not usable. But we enjoyed the location and the house was great. We did call and the cleaners came and the owner on the day of arrival so everything was resolved.

We had an amazing stay at Gold Cove with a group of 5 families! There was plenty of space to spread out and relax/enjoy. The game room was a hit with the kids! The heated pool was also bigger than expected and the kids really enjoyed it whenever they weren't in the lake. The amenities were amazing! The home had everything you needed and more. We can't wait to return and have already rebooked for next year. Thanks, Gold Cove, for an amazing stay!

The house was a perfect fit for our group 40th birthday celebration weekend. Everything was clean inside the house and there was plenty of space including giant closets. The dock area is so peaceful at sunset. The water toys were in great condition and fun to use. Would love to come back!

With a big group of girlfriends, I had a wonderful weekend at Daniel’s place. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep and hangout together, the dock and lake-side deck were great, and we lucked out with perfect weather for floating and paddling on Lake Anna. The house was as described and very comfortable.

Great house with a great host! There were lots special touches like toys and books for the kids. Everything was well taken care of and clean and the view and location on the lake was amazing.

Great property, total relaxation.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house with our family! The property is absolutely stunning — spacious, clean, and well maintained. The lake itself was warm and perfect for swimming, and the kids had a blast with all the activities available. From the sandpit and the arcade room to hours spent in the water, there was never a dull moment.
There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, and the house was stocked with great amenities that made our stay comfortable and stress-free. Communication with our host was excellent — they were friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish.
This was one of our favorite family trips and we’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing lake getaway!

Beautiful property. Easy to communicate.

We as 8 couples 75 years old who went to college together had a fabulous get together. There is not a thing the owners didn’t forget in this house. Every imaginable kitchen appliance and utensil, plenty of glassware and dishes as well as a beautiful areas to relax and enjoy. The location is private and secluded with a beautiful view of the lake but near NOVA and Richmond. We enjoyed plenty of space to spread out whether on the dock or one of the beautiful decks or living rooms. Grocery and a couple restaurants are a close drive. We will definitely return and also recommend to any looking for a multi family retreat. Loads of kids toys and a fabulous 3rd floor kid space !
