Vista Point Estate is great for a large extended family like ours. There's plenty of room to spread out but also many areas to come together: the deck, the game area, the pool/patio, dining/living room, fire pit. For the most part, communication was good, especially for the more important things, like when the pool pump did not come back on after a power outage. The kitchen was large and well-equipped. The pool, pool table, and dock were all used extensively. We brought a motor boat and small sail boat and used both most days; we used the boat launch in the nearby park. On the not so good side, all the windows need a good cleaning, as do the decks. Some of the kitchen items also needed washed before use. We would recommend Vista Pointe Estate to any large group of family or friends!

House was very new, cleaned, and exceptionally well equipped. We do not have younger children but saw that it was nicely equipped for families that do as well. All LVP floors/very dog friendly. Property was overall beautiful and comfortable.

What a great lake house! Stayed during the off season and it was like we had the lake to ourselves! Stayed with toddlers and they absolutely had the best vacation (lake is a short walk, two playgrounds, a wagon at the house and toys galore!) adults had a blast too! Can’t wait to go back!

An amazing home in a fantastic location. We used this home for a company offsite/retreat. It was prefect. Very private, enormous lot, with huge lake front area. Great boat dock, beach and fire pit area. The house was so large I don't think we got to use parts of it, but there is something in this house for everyone. The host was super communicative and we had a great time.

The house was beautiful with great accommodations. Our kids loved the games and ping pong table, and everything was very clean. The location on the lake was perfect, especially if you have a boat. The linens were the nicest we’ve ever had at a short-term rental, and the beds were so comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We had a great time at the Private Cove house! The weather was perfect, which made it ideal to swim in the private side of Lake Anna. The house had all the amenities we needed to unwind and hang out. Joe promptly stopped by to fix one of the tables as well. The Hot tub was great too.
The best part is our whole group of family members had their own bathroom and rooms, in the house. I highly recommend planning your next visit and stay at Private Cove.

This is the second time my group has stayed at Daniel's private location, and it was just as accommodating as the first time. It felt like we were returning home everything was just as we left it. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future. His group are great host. Thank you once again.

Our family of 6 had an incredible time. From check in to check out everything was fantastic. The home offered plenty to do for all four of our kids ranging from 6-18 years old. The boardwalk being a couple hundred feet from the house was a nice added bonus. Daniel was incredibly responsive anytime we had a question. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

We enjoyed staying at this property. We enjoyed the lake, fishing, canoeing, and especially playing pickleball. We will definite go back here next time.

Beautifully appointed property, well-stocked kitchen, and everything you need to enjoy time at the lake. The house was sparkling clean and views were terrific.

We absolutely loved our stay at Dogwood Tree House! Plenty of activities to do they even had fishing poles!! Can’t wait to stay again!!

We stayed in Halcyon Blue for a weekend staff retreat. Beautiful and spacious home, quiet location, ...everything was as described. Would recommend for similar event or family get together.
Daniel was a fantastic host and, for us, the house and lake access were perfect. 10/10!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful waterfront Lake Anna home. We stayed with 3 generationsof family ranging from mid 20s to mid 80s. We really enjoyed hanging out on the dock and using all of the available toys, such as kayaks and paddle boards. We rented the boat for one day, which was a great experience. The views from the house are spectacular and the tall windows provide a constant backdrop while you are hanging out inside. There is also a picnic table on the back porch for having meals outside.It was a great home for our mother who is on a walker. Except for the minor issue of no railings on the couple steps up to the door and a couple steps around the side of the house, the walkways were perfect to get to the dock and also having the master bedroom on the main floor was idealThe property manager was amazing. He responded with minutes to any questions we had.Something to note, but not a negative, is the close proximity to the community boathouse, and parking lot which is very near to this home’s dock. It was really no problem for us and did not affect our enjoyment or view. The way the house and boat dock are situated facing away from that area,, it does mess up your tranquil view.We would rent this home again for sure! Our only complaint was not having enough time to enjoy all it had to offer!

Great spot.

This home was absolutely amazing for my family and I. Having a large kitchen island was the star of the show. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of seating through out the house, including the outside. The yard had games, a beautiful fire place and everything you could think of to enjoy family time.
The only down side to the house is the cleanliness. It seemed as though the house hadn’t undergone a deep clean after the summer stays. For example, the shower curtains had mold and the coffee machine was extremely dirty, and haven’t been wiped down or cleaned underneath. It also seemed as though there had been holes in the bathrooms that weren’t properly patched or painted over. The outside of the house looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all summer as well.
Despite the cleanliness, I still gave this house a five star, just because it was things that didn’t affect our stay. I would 100% come back to stay at this property with my family.

I left the property saying “that is exactly how I envisioned this weekend going.” The house was great, the owners were fantastic, and the property is amazing. We had an amazing stay at Gold Cove with a group of 5 families! There was plenty of space to spread out and relax/enjoy. The game room was a hit with the kids! The heated pool was also bigger than expected and the kids really enjoyed it whenever they weren't in the lake. The amenities were amazing! The home had everything you needed and more. We can't wait to return and have already rebooked for next year. Thanks, Gold Cove, for an amazing stay!
