We had such a wonderful family vacation at Lake Anna! The house was exactly what we were hoping for—clean, spacious, and comfortable for our whole family. The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to cook meals together, and the living areas gave us plenty of room to relax.
The location couldn’t be better. We loved being right on the lake—morning coffee on the deck with the water view was perfect, and the kids had an amazing time swimming and playing by the dock. We also enjoyed using the kayaks and paddleboards, which made for some of our favorite memories from the trip.
Check-in was seamless, and our host was responsive and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home.
We left feeling refreshed, connected as a family, and already talking about when we’ll come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway at Lake Anna!

Beautiful house, location was peaceful and the view was beautiful. The house had everything you could need. Daniel was very helpful and responsive to messages. I would definitely recommend.
We absolutely loved our stay at this home! It was spacious and clean and had everything you could possibly want and more! The hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. We enjoyed the lake and paddle boards. The kids loved the movie theater. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare all meals during your stay. Can’t wait to go back!!
Well-Equipped Clean House in the heart of Lake Anna
We enjoyed our stay at Captain's Quarters because of the many places to relax and enjoy the lake view, as well as fun action, including kayaks/paddleboard, boat slip, fire pit patio, al fresco dining table, screened in porch, and second floor boathouse. The neighbors are very friendly and welcoming and the location is central to Lake Anna.
It’s a beautiful location. The house is very spacious, very well furnished, has great entertainment-tv’s and many games, a huge game room, and has great views.
Had a big family trip, the house was perfect for what we needed.
We did a family trip with 10 adults and 5 kids and had a great time. On sunny days we stayed outside and enjoyed the lake and beach. But even on rainy days we had fun in the house.
Highlights: 1. The house offers a spacious kitchen open to living room. Everyone can be together, cook, and chill together.
2. Also they offer so many toys and games that the kids had a blast to explore everything. 3. Almost every night we gathered around the fire pit with a beautiful view on the lake.
Improvements: We didn’t even expect having a Xbox so that’s not a real complaint but some controllers didn’t work well and the Foosball-Table wasn’t installed correctly (3 goal keepers). In the kitchen, there were a lot of fruit flies. Regardless, we still had a great time and would always come back.
Huge, beautiful home, perfect for a group of friends or family. There was enough room for everyone to spread out or gather together.Host was super responsive and kind.

Our family really enjoyed spending a few days here. The home is very spacious with plenty of things to keep everyone entertained. We really liked that the house had almost everything you'd need on a trip away from home. Thanks for having us.
Great location and accommodating host
This home had something for everyone! We enjoyed our stay and will come back!
Daniel was responsive and friendly in messages. The home was clean and very well stocked. Lots of large beach towels and fuzzy blankets for the cooler lake nights. The house was extremely homey and comfy and even though we had rainy weather we didn’t mind sitting and looking through the big windows. Although understandable and every host can accommodate different things, check in time was not very flexible even when offering to pay an extra fee for a few hours we were offered a whole additional night which says no one was in the home the day prior to us. The pickleball courts in the neighborhood are not realistically walkable and getting a large group there would require multiple cars. It would have been nice to know in the listing that the water around the dock was not very deep which would be more ideal for kids than the group of adults we had. All minimal things that didn’t affect our stay just would have maybe affected our choice.
Daniel was very responsive. House is beautiful and in a peaceful location. We enjoyed our stay and will come back in future.
The house was spacious and spotless and offered all sorts of entertaining options like the pool table, movie theater, and screened porches. The fire pit and the boat house were great for enjoying the outdoors. Our host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We have already recommended this place to our friends and are planning our return. One of our best VRBO experiences ever.
