We enjoyed our stay. Our host was great to work with and communicated very well. We had a septic alarm issue, but the host and local team addressed it quickly, and had a service technician on-site in a short period of time. Things like that happen in any home from time to time, and they were prepared and professional in their response. Highly recommend.

This home is beautiful! The pictures don't do the space any justice. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are immaculate. Plenty of space to bring multiple families!

We loved our week here! The home was the perfect size for our family and the swim area and boats at the dock provided a great place for the kids to play. We were able to bring our boat and tie it up at the dock on the property. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful! We’d definitely stay here again in the future!

Our stay here was so amazing that we extended it two extra nights! We had 15 people with us and there was plenty of room for everyone! The place was absolutely beautiful. The dock and outside areas were some of the highlights. We used the paddle boards and kayaks daily. The private side of the lake was very peaceful. This is our second trip to Lake Anna and we’ll definitely rent this house again in the future if it’s available!

The house was lovely and communication with prompt. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and 8 children.
The lake was good for swimming and paddle boarding. We were there during a heat wave and unfortunately the water was quite warm. There were a couple of nippy fish, but they did not deter us from the water.

We absolutely love this home. This is our 3rd time booking this house. it works well for our large group and is situated perfectly on the lake. it is on a nice quiet cover but has easy access to the main part of the lake. Daniel and crew are very responsive to any requests or needs which we appreciate. Highly recommend this home!

Really enjoyed our week long stay here with 15 of us, the space was gorgeous inside and out. The lake was perfect for a swim off our dock, we did smores around the fire pit, we could all fit at the dinner table together which is amazing, the kitchen was huge and open, the teens had tons of their own space downstairs including a movie theater ! Could not have been better. Will come again.

Amazing house and we felt it exceeded expectations. My family enjoyed having plenty of space to spread out and ample areas to hang out all together. We all loved the boat dock, multiple fans on the dock helped during the massive heat wave we encountered. Already thinking of we can all get together and book again. No major issues and the couple of times we reached out to Daniel, he responded very quickly.

House was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Great to be on the lake along with having access to tennis/pickleball courts and a pool.

Our family of 15 had a wonderful time, very spacious for everyone. Daniel's place was as described and he provided excellent instructions and communication. We enjoyed the community pool, hot tub, relaxing by the lake, use of kayaks/paddleboards and catching fish at night. Young children loved the playroom. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Daniel’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was exceptionally clean, exactly like the photos, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was simple, the instructions were clear, and Daniel was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful, making it a relaxing place to stay. Overall, it was an excellent value, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommended!

This house was beautiful and perfect for some much needed rest for our family. The screened in porches were one of our favorite spots with a nice view and privacy from neighbors. We spent so much time at the dock watching wildlife in the private cove. We will be back to visit again soon! Such a perfect lake house.

Lovely home in the water. Lake Anna was beautiful, refreshing and clean. Do make sure to paddle both left and right of the house and enjoy fishing jumping and cranes sitting on docks along the shore.
We had a very small group but this home is perfect for multiple families and especially fun if you have younger children to make use of the “kids sleepover” room and downstairs den
The firepit is lovely and had the best smores kit.
We spent most of our time on the dock. We brought fishing poles but the home had them as well. Do note the ladder to get back up takes some strength. We are all in good shape but still had to work to get up the ladder.
We shopped at home and hauled our food up but there’s really no need to. There’s an exceptionally Food Lion less than 3 minutes down the road.
I think any family would enjoy the home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here at this property for a long weekend. The house was gorgeous, spacious and being on the lake front with the sand play area was perfect for small children. My only complaint was that the floors felt a little dirty upon arrival. There were plenty of towels at the house, 3 fridges, and hot tub was functional. Overall check in was smooth, however I had asked many times for potential early check in and was directed to “keep checking the portal” as early check in could not be determined until a few days beforehand. I would have appreciated a straightforward answer. The listing was confusing as it said it was dog friendly (up to 3) but when I asked in direct message, I was told service dogs only. Later I learned that I was given wrong information and could have brought my pets along.

We had a fantastic stay at Lake Anna! The house was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our group of four families. The location on the lake was beautiful, and we made so many great memories together.
Overall, we had an amazing vacation with friends and would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you for hosting us!

We loved our stay here! Everything was exactly how it was described. The view is amazing, and the house had plenty of things for us to do in the lake. My teenage son loved fishing off the dock, and my 11 year old daughter hardly got out of the water. We will be staying here again!

We loved our stay at The Blue Canoe! The home was gorgeous, the views were perfect, and the game room was a kid favorite. We'll definitely be back next year!

An Absolute Lakeside Paradise!Our stay in Mineral, Virginia was nothing short of perfect. Three moms, including all of our children, stayed comfortably in this beautiful home from June 28th to July 2nd, and nobody wanted to leave! The house was incredibly spacious and well-appointed, easily accommodating our large group without anyone ever feeling cramped. Every amenity was thought of, and the entire property provided a highly comfortable and relaxing environment that made us feel right at home the moment we walked through the door.What truly sets this property apart is the incredible array of outdoor activities available for both kids and adults. We spent hours out on the water thanks to the generous supply of canoes, kayaks, and a paddleboard, which kept the children entertained and the adults thoroughly relaxed. Whether we were enjoying a morning paddle or relaxing by the water in the evening, there was never a shortage of things to do. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot and highly recommend this home to any group looking for the perfect lakeside getaway!
